Gary Numan's Classic Album Tour, staged across 2015 and 2016, revisited the music that established Tubeway Army and his early solo career. The concerts drew heavily on the albums Replicas, The Pleasure Principle and Telekon, bringing together familiar singles and album tracks that had become less common in his live performances.
The tour began on 29 September 2015 at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles, with further 2015 performances in the United States, England and Ireland. It continued in 2016, with the dates currently documented on this page running from 10 May at the Gramercy Theatre in New York to 2 October at The Electric in Brixton, London. The tour comprised 33 concerts across 2015 and 2016. Country, mileage and song-performance figures remain subject to reconciliation across both years.
Songs documented in the existing song statistics include 'Cars', 'Are 'Friends' Electric?', 'Down In The Park', 'Metal' and 'I Die: You Die', alongside deeper cuts such as 'The Joy Circuit', 'Sleep By Windows' and 'Praying To The Aliens'. The recorded setlists also include selections from later albums, making the tour both a celebration of the classic records and a wider look across Numan's catalogue.
