Gary Numan's UK & USA Pure Tour took place between February and May 2001, following the release of his album Pure in 2000. The album continued the darker, industrial-influenced sound of his recent work, and songs from the record formed a substantial part of the live performances.
The tour began at Croydon's Fairfield Hall on 13 February 2001 and concluded at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California, on 7 May. The itinerary covered 26 venues across five countries, with an approximate travelling distance of 6,711 miles.
The setlists featured Pure material including “Pure,” “My Jesus,” “Rip” and “A Prayer For The Unborn,” alongside earlier songs such as “Cars,” “Down In The Park” and “Are 'Friends' Electric?” A tour programme was also produced.
