John Dent (1954–2017) was a British mastering and cutting engineer whose career began at Trident Studios. After working at Island Records Sound Clinic and The Exchange, he founded LOUD Mastering in 1995. His work with Gary Numan and Tubeway Army includes original-era cutting marks and later remastered vinyl editions.
