| Early May - Rehearsal in Chelsea, Jeremy Harrington arrives on the scene and things don't go well. |
| Early May - Gary is Ejected from the band. |
| Mid May - Gary replies to an advert in Melody Maker as a guitarist. On sale on a Saturday (14th) ? |
| Mid May - Gary meets Paul Gardiner at a club in West Drayton (17th to 21st) ? |

| Late May - 1 gig is played as The Lasers possibly at The Bones Club, Reading |

| Mid June, Gary meets Kevin St. John at The Roxy and arranges a gig for the 25th June mentioning Mean Street were playing. |
